Thierry Pilenko joins Maillance Board of Advisors

Paris, October 11, 2019 — Maillance® SAS today announced the appointment of Thierry Pilenko to its board of advisors, effective immediately. Mr. Pilenko stepped down from TechnipFMC in May 2019, having served as its Executive Chairman since 2017.

Mr. Pilenko’s appointment initiates the creation of a board of advisors to help guide Maillance in achieving its goal of democratizing the use of artificial intelligence across the upstream oil and gas value chain. Mr Pilenko will play an active role in the commercial and strategic efforts of the company.

Mr. Pilenko has extensive experience in the energy sector, including several leadership positions. He served as Chairman & CEO of Technip S.A. from 2007 to 2017; Chairman & CEO of Veritas DGC Inc., from 2004 to 2007; Managing Director of SchlumbergerSema, a Schlumberger Ltd. Company, from 2001 to 2004; and President of GeoQuest, another Schlumberger Ltd. Company, from 1998 to 2001. He joined Schlumberger in 1984 where he held various international management positions.

In addition, Mr. Pilenko has served and continues to serve on several boards of companies active in the energy industry and beyond.
